About Us
ESBS is a professional Building Services Engineering Consultancy. Established by Lasath Lecamwasam, a Chartered Professional Engineer with 30 years’ experience working in Australia, New Zealand, Scotland and England. Based in Canberra ESBS provide services Australia wide.
We believe that human induced climate change is a threat to our sustainability and we must minimise the environmental impact of our activities through behavioural change, passive designs where possible and the smart use of technology. We have developed a passion for Ecologically Sustainable Design (ESD) and are proud to have participated in numerous innovative projects over the years, some of which have been recognised through awards.
The experience we offer is diverse and multi-disciplinary. Projects span different countries and range from services design, energy management, energy auditing and maintenance management.
Our depth of experience across design, energy assessments and maintenance management gives us the perspective to develop the most reliable and cost effective solutions for your facility to be competitive and sustainable.
We believe that awareness of key issues and empowerment is essential for sustainability. Therefore training and capacity building of Clients staff on sustainable operation of energy consuming systems is also a service we offer.
